Maize flour for members after poor rains
After poor rains left many members struggling for food, donors in Luton and board member Madiha Bakir funded bags of ufa for every support group.
Poor rains in Malawi this year left many MASYAP members struggling to feed themselves and their families.
Thanks to a donation from Madiha Bakir, one of MASYAP’s board members, and donors in Luton, UK, we gave every support group several bags of ufa, the maize flour that is Malawi’s staple food. Members in particular need received extra bags. The distribution was carried out by our HTC and Youth Coordinator and our Office Assistant.
We hope this has made a real difference to members who have been struggling over the past few months.
