Ramadan food parcels from the Muslim World League and Road to Relief
400 food parcels, donated by the Muslim World League with Road to Relief, were given to the most vulnerable members of our women’s and youth groups.
MASYAP received 400 food parcels from the Muslim World League, in collaboration with Road to Relief. They were distributed on 17 and 18 April 2020 to members of both the youth and women’s support groups.
Parcels went to the most vulnerable members of each group, identified by age, financial situation and HIV status, and were shared equally across all support groups.
Each parcel contained
- 10 kg maize flour
- 1 kg broken rice
- 2 packets of sugar
- 1 packet of salt
- 1 packet of tea leaves
- 4 packets of soya pieces
- 3 bars of soap
