Cyclone Freddy: 300 more food packs from the Muslim World League
The Muslim World League donated 300 food packs for members who lost property in Cyclone Freddy, including 90 members from Zomba.
The Muslim World League, which has supported MASYAP through its relief programmes many times, donated 300 food packs to vulnerable MASYAP members after Cyclone Freddy. Many of our members in the southern region lost property in the cyclone.
The packs were handed out at Maone Vocational Centre on Monday 3 April 2023. Because of the long distances involved, 90 members from Zomba collected theirs at the MASYAP office the following morning.
The packs went to members from all vulnerable groups.
