Support group visits build stronger, self-reliant groups
MASYAP staff visited youth and women’s groups to review progress, offer guidance and encourage members to stay active.

MASYAP continued its regular visits to youth and women’s support groups: safe places where members facing similar challenges share experiences, encourage one another and build resilience.
Staff reviewed each group’s progress, offered guidance and encouraged members to take an active part. The visits strengthened the groups and motivated members to keep working towards their personal and shared goals.
Support groups reduce isolation, support emotional wellbeing, build problem-solving skills and encourage positive friendships. MASYAP aims to build strong, active, self-reliant groups that can tackle challenges in their own communities.
