Women’s groups: “a problem shared is half solved”
Visits to women’s groups encouraged members to support each other, and covered hygiene, nutrition and childcare.
MASYAP visited women’s support groups to strengthen community bonds and encourage members to support one another.
Women were encouraged to work together, share experiences and stand by each other in difficult times. The meetings give members a chance to talk openly about their challenges and seek advice from others in the group. As the saying goes, a problem shared is half solved.
