September 2025: 166 members trained and 150 new loans
Members from 38 support groups were trained in business and money management, and 150 received microloans.
September 2025 was a busy month for MASYAP’s microfinance programme, with training, new loans, chairladies’ meetings and visits to support groups in Zomba.

Training
The training covered running a business, making sound financial decisions and managing loans, so members can support their families and build stable livelihoods.
Loans
After the training, 150 members across all support groups received microloans. The loans are revolving: as they are repaid, more members can benefit. They help women and young mothers grow their businesses, increase their income and depend less on others.
