Chairladies’ meetings and Zomba visits, September 2025
Group leaders shared experiences and agreed to mentor new microfinance members, while the team visited Zomba groups with training and loans.
MASYAP brought together chairladies from its support groups to share experiences, challenges and good practice. The meetings encouraged learning from each other and mutual support, and chairladies were asked to mentor new members of the microfinance programme.
Visits to Zomba
The MASYAP team visited support groups in Zomba to check on progress and offer guidance. Members received additional microfinance training, some groups received their loans, and members discussed business challenges and celebrated successes.
Building lasting change
MASYAP is building a network of financially independent women who can support their families and contribute to their communities. We believe that empowering one woman empowers a community.
