The Mai Aisha Trust invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of HIV Testing Services (HTS) Provider with MASYAP.
Main duties
- Give clients information before testing
- Provide HIV testing services in line with Malawi’s National HIV Testing Guidelines
- Refer clients and link them to other services
- Collect data, keep records and write reports
- Collect samples for viral load monitoring
- Distribute HIV self-test kits
- Provide index testing to all eligible clients
- Take part in quality assurance
Requirements
- A certificate in a medical discipline
- MSCE, and certification as an HIV testing services provider
- Completion of the nationally recognised HIV testing services training course, and certification by the Ministry of Health
- At least one year’s experience
- Good written and spoken communication
