School fees programme: 39 girls supported this term
Girls from 21 youth groups are on the school fees programme. Before the final term, they and their guardians met MASYAP to review progress.
The school fees programme gives financial support to the girls most in need so that they can continue their education. This third term, 39 girls from 21 of MASYAP’s 30 youth support groups are on the programme.
To keep track of the programme, MASYAP invited the girls and their guardians to a meeting before the third and final term of the year, and reminded them to:
- Bring school fees receipts as proof of payment
- Bring school progress reports
- Encourage the girls, as parents and guardians, to work hard at school
