Every month the Youth Coordinator visits the groups to teach and encourage the girls, and netball is the activity they enjoy most.
The Youth Coordinator visits the youth groups every month to follow up on their activities, to teach and encourage the girls, and to make sure every member is treated equally.
Netball
Netball is the activity members enjoy most. It builds trust and cooperation, so it develops teamwork as well as social and communication skills.
Education
The girls are reminded of the importance of education and encouraged to work hard at school. Girls who are educated are less likely to marry young and more likely to lead healthy, productive lives. They earn more, take part in the decisions that affect them, and build better futures for themselves and their families. Girls’ education also strengthens economies and reduces inequality.
