Follow-up visits to eight youth groups
Visits encourage girls in school to keep studying and check on the businesses of young mothers on the youth microfinance scheme.
MASYAP visited eight youth support groups: Lunzu, Bangwe Mvula, Kubaluti, Kameza, Bangwe Alasala, Chemusa, Machinjiri and Lirangwe.
The visits build team spirit and encourage girls to work hard at school. For young mothers and others who have left school, who are also on the youth microfinance scheme, the visits check on how their businesses are doing.
