Follow-up visits: repayments, savings and solving problems
Visits to members running small businesses encouraged them, tackled their problems and stressed timely repayment and saving.
As part of the microfinance programme, MASYAP visited support group members who run small businesses.
The visits aimed to
- encourage members to work hard and keep their businesses sustainable
- address the challenges they face and suggest practical solutions
- stress the importance of repaying loans on time and saving at home
These visits are essential to the programme’s success, building accountability and improving members’ financial wellbeing.
