How microfinance members are coping with Covid-19
The microfinance team visited four support groups. Members are struggling to save during the pandemic, but the visits gave them fresh motivation.
The microfinance team made follow-up visits to four support groups to see how the women are coping with the Covid-19 pandemic.
The women are finding it hard to make enough profit to put into their savings accounts. Most of what they earn goes on repaying their loans, with only a little left over to save.
Even so, the visits gave them a sense of motivation, and they asked the team to visit them regularly.
