Covid-19: MASYAP sews face masks with Road to Relief
Working with Road to Relief, MASYAP used its sewing machines and skills to make face masks during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Wearing a face mask is one of the measures that helps prevent the spread of Covid-19. People with early, mild or no symptoms can still pass the virus on, and masks reduce the spread of respiratory droplets from people who may not know they are infected.
MASYAP therefore began making face masks to help protect public health. The initiative was set up by Road to Relief, which commissioned MASYAP to sew the masks on our machines, with MASYAP providing the labour. It is in effect a joint venture between the two organisations.
